One of the more popular tech gifts are speakers. These highly useful items are everywhere and suitable for almost anyone. There was no lack of speaker technology at the show. We were impressed with the creative Vibe speaker (shown on the right) which can turn any hollowed object into a speaker! There was also a very fun megaphone stand that was both amusing and useful. In this presentation we've included many great options, ranging from headphones to stands to portable speakers that will fit in your pocket. A lot of drinkware was shown at the convention this year, but an interesting category in this group we noticed was the water filter included bottles. This is a great solution to reducing the number of disposable plastic bottles. Instead of buying water in plastic which is a huge environmental problem, people can fill up their water bottles with tap water and have it filtered - clear good tasting water. The newest iPhone sold four million units in the first 3 days of its release. Thus it is no wonder that smart phone accessories were omnipresent at the show. Many companies have started to work on gadgets that will hold a person's phone upright for them, either as a desk item or a portable device. There were also plenty of smart phone cases, including a nice waterproof one we thought would accommodate several promotional themes. There is a new solar charger that clings to a window (the most sensible place to put a solar charger). And of course there are new and interesting speakers. There are a handful of options for distributing digital content, but why not in a promotional product form that the customer can then continue to use for their own purposes? This can be a flash drive, a digital picture frame, an mp3 player, cds, or any kind of digital device that has storage. You can pre-load your company's product images or a presentation onto these devices for a fun reusable promotion item. About 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime, and in 2010, there were more than 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S (breastcancer.org). Please promote the idea of getting regular check ups, or raising funds towards the curing of cancer.
